Works out to be approx $0.50 per click, which is excellent! (relative to, say Adsense or Chitika)

you will want to contact support to see how this is handled. I think you just take out your paypal address but not sure on that.

It is really promising, but I have two complaints:
    1) it doesn't work well on italian ebay (so I guess it doesn't work well on any other than the original ebay): the ads that appear on my website will show ok, but when I click, it will take me to the italian ebay (since that's where I am) and I will not find the same objects, unless I perform a new, global, search, but that's not something that my average user will do. So I get many impressions, many clicks, and no earnings.
    2) No support. I emailed for a simple question weeks ago but never received a reply.

The second point is not a big issue, but the first one is to me. I can see great potential, lots of interest from my users, but, in the end, I get nothing.
I can't wait till AA gets ready to support ebay from other countries, but until then I think I am going to go back to my traditional affiliate programs.

Thanks, Chimeara. I was beginning to suspect this exact problem. These are indeed much lower traffic than the site that seems to stay refreshed.

My results after about 35 days:
    IMPS clicks ctr $$
    721877 9521 1.32 $88.89

not too bad considering Adsense and YPN both earned virtually nothing in with the exact same placement..

My earnings are picking up slowly, this last week:

    05/25 <aggregate> 16431 146 0.89% $9.80
    05/26 <aggregate> 23441 151 0.64% $4.64
    05/27 <aggregate> 34987 208 0.59% $8.59
    05/28 <aggregate> 42669 221 0.52% $4.61
    05/29 <aggregate> 37056 185 0.50% $3.77
    05/30 <aggregate> 40317 197 0.49% $0.00
    05/31 <aggregate> 2224 10 0.45% $0.00

I find it takes 1-2 days for earnings to appear. So probably tomorrow I'll see earnings appear for 05/30.

In my experience the system runs on a two day delay, my earnings for say May 28th appeared around 1am est May 30th , thats how its been since I have been using them.

Thanks Shoe, i will contact the support team then.

Agreed on point 1. It doesnt take you directly to the products. I am in Austria, so when i did a test click it took me ebay austria for a very general search term. Is it like that for all countries or are some countries not supported yet?

Guess i have to play with the keywords a bit.. thats not easy on my keyword though.. :S

I did play with my keywords, for example i did put both "stethoscope" and "stetoscopio" so, when the user clicks on the ad that appears for stethoscope, he is taken to an ebay page for the search for both "stethoscope" and "stetoscopio" in the italian ebay. He only gets results for "stetoscopio", which is at least something, but he doesn't see the item he saw on the website, unless he knows that he has to do a global search. But if he does a global search again, I am not even sure if I get the commission, I guess not. And it is difficult and counterproductive. I guided a user out of my website and told him to search for himself. No point to that.

So this cant be changed? I get great CTR for my AA, but if i was the guy who clicks the ad and it doesnt forward me directly to that product i saw and was interested in, i'd close the window immediately.

Exactly my thoughts. That's why I removed AA and will only put them on again when they support other ebay sites too.

Is ebay US supported? My traffic mainly comes from the US, so if its supported i'd be ok.

Yes ebay US is where links from AA take you, I don't think you have a problem then

    -- edit --

I mean the ads that appear on AA come from ebay US, so if a user clicks from US, he will be taken to ebay US where he will see the item he clicked for.

This is my gripe.... it only shows US eBay ads and if you are in another country you don't get transported to that product.

It should serve auctions relevant to the user. I am in Australia so I should see AU eBay auctions and when I click on them get directed to the item.

I agree on this 100% and I do think it is something that needs to be addressed pretty quickly.

It's actually $0.05 per click. I wish it were $0.50!

But the program does okay for me. If I combine AA with Adsense, my total is more than when I had CJ offers plus Adsense for sure.

Most of my visitors are American ,but many Australian and British ... and I also find it annoying that you don't go directly to the ad clicked.

Is there any reason why that is the case? Or is it just difficult to do?
