Strange Change on SERP

I had an website oprimized to a keywords, and I had it in the first 10 results. The only way to monetizez the website was Adsense, and I've decided to try an affiliate, so I've added two banneres on that page. The second day after I've made the change the Google Killed my traffic. I've lost rankings for many keywords, but now I was getting more traffic from MSN.

What can be wrong here ? Thanks

this thinks is not effect for your sites optimization so i think u continue on your optimization.

Don't be to confident to your ranks today. I think Google is updating the site.

 

Check out your google sitemap account and see the stats there for some reference. For most of time, Google keeps updating their algo and refresh the index, hence, there are frequent changes to the rankings. Keep building your links and you will see the effect eventually.

 

actually my rankings have been stable for about a week. They were all over the place before that. I did not tweak my sites at all.

I kind of like how they are ranking right now so I hope things do not change

 

And one site that I had written off for many months (had/has 3 Dollars ecpm AND 11% CTR) suddenly , and very suddenly started ranking so well it was better than when i left it....

Google can be crazy......

 

SERPS change every hour of everyday....

 

I've posted this thread 16 days ago, and still no change.

What I've noticed ... I've lost rankings for most of my keywords in Google, and from 300-400 daily visitors from Google now I have only 20 maximum, but I have about 100 from MSN and Yahoo.

In this time I've ignored this project, I've build only 1 link per day from directories. And I've modified some text on my pages ( better titles ) + ( added description meta tag to some pages that didn't had description meta tag.

Now .. this is how my website looks in Google Webmaster Tools, but I don't have those rankings. I used to have them.

 

I've noticed that the traffic from Google in the last days was close to 0.

Now I see that pages from my website are still on Google when I perform site : , but I don't understand what happend. Could I have penalised for something ? And how can I find if I'm ?

 

i think you must wait one or two weeks . if your problem continues, you must work to solve it but i believe the problemthat you menetion is google dance. it will come back

 

Solve it ? How ? What could be wrong ? Usually how much a Google Dance last ?
