the only recent plugin i installed was FeedBurner FeedSmith, but it was working when i installed it. then yesterday i noticed it was broken b/c my google webmaster tools reporsted a 500 error for my feed url.

I even deactivated the plugin, but it didn't fix anything. and my comments feed button works like a charm. This problem is giving me a headache!

i looked in my RSS templates and all the sections with CDATA appear to have closing tags :(

It's funny, i actually just tried that right before i saw your message!

But it didn't work :(

I wonder if it is one of my posts? it seems to work fine until line 93:
http://feedvalidator.org/check.cgi?url=http://theguitarresource.com/feed/
But still, that post has been up for a few weeks and the feed has been working fine until yesterday...

if you view the source of http://theguitarresource.com/feed/ i noticed that the last line of code is
which is an oppening tag. The question is, do i need to figure out how to remove that? or do i need to figure out how to get something to show up after it that is supposed to?

another thing i just noticed:
I JUST added my rss feed to this forum so it shows my most recent post by my avatar, and it seems to be pulling my top sticky post, which is wierd since my RSS feed appears to be broken...

The sticky post will always be first, that's the way you have it set.
It will show on top in feed readers, but if the reader only shows most recent, it will be that one.
At least that has been my experience.
Some one else may know a way to combat that.
