Clear your confusion about Xoom [ FOR INDIANS ONLY ]

Nice post.I have to encash my paypal money.This would provide as a good medium between paypal and indian banks.

 

Did you just read my post earlier? I am in trouble and just got a refund.

Hey, i want to know if they charge any thing extra than 8$`s, if i send my money from paypal->xoom->panjab national bank(pickup)? and i heard i can`t send money from India(paypal) to India(XOOM) if its pickup, is that true by any chance?, i have same name account in XOOM and Paypal will that cause any problem?.............
And i don`t have a PAN card for verification, any alternative?

They charge $8 but they also give about Rs. 1 / $ 1 or so less in the conversion.

They canceled my transaction two times, let us see what happens to you. Keep posted here.

 

hi guys,
this is to update you that i am also using xoom.com services, and this is great guys, i got my money in just 3 days into my account. this is also safe to use that. i highly recommand that.

 

but guys this is to update as well, they offer less exchange rate for $$$.
today i have checked with RBI they said $ is about 40.86INR, while xoom is offering only 39.26INR for a $.

i hope this information may help you out, when you are going to use xoom. anybody knows if we can use any other service MONEY to INDIA, offering good exchnage rate for the same? and that is also safe to use

 

well... i liked there service... but i hate the thing that i cant send more than 1000$'s / transaction...Still i could adjust by doing multiple transaction but again i cant do more than 3 transactions /month....
Its ridiculous. anyone know other service... i usually have to transfer 4000-6000$'s / month... Please suggest me alternative..

 

I have a canadian pp account i transferd money via xoom first time i recienve f und without any problem after that i cant able getmoney they every time refund
when i call them they not answer every time they said there is no problem you can transfer after that same problem happen what can i do?

Can anyone give some information about Intra-India....i mean transferring my paypal $$ to my bank account as i am in India.....some people are complaining that Xoom is not transferring india to india and is refunding the funds.Any help??

for first transaction , does someone give ID before or after payment ?

and is ID shown at home or sent to XOOM ?
