I know the web is absolutely MASSIVE.

However I find myself on the same sites all the time. Anyonebody else feel the same?

Yes... I feel that it is small yet it's soo large 'cause I too visit the frequent sites all the time :p who really surfs random sites? We're usually looking for specific things lol

It's funny, because everyone has different sites they visit. So collectively, the web is a massive place. :)

I have to disagree. I think there's only a handful of websites that together get %99 of internet's traffic, the remaining majority has to share the miserable %1 that is left for them... just my 2 cents.. ;)

Let me give an example :p

World is so large but you may be visiting in the same city or state or country :p

I think is not a good example

Basically we do similar kind of search and land up on same sites. If you refine your search you may land up on different sites :)

The guy who said espn, yahoo, gmail blah etc.

That's what I"m talking about. I know your interests change and you venture off but even someone who spends 8 hours a day for years I wonder how many sites you actually visit in a % of whats out there. I've been on the net most of my life but I"ve probably only seen a slightest sliver of what there is to offer. It's crazy.

Like I was thinking in regard to promotion what sites... Well there are probably AWESOME sites I've never even heard of. Yes I"m bored at work. Back to working on my websitse and getting info from the 5-10 sites I'm always on ;)

Not really. You have to be physically be there. And there are factor like time and money.

However, you can go to any site (almost) with the same amount of time and effort

I was stuck in a major rut too....maybe only 5-7 sites regularly that I visit.

I suggest Stumble, great way to discover new sites ;)

    I love it :)

Yes I do feel the same. Mostly I visit few websites (Kind of a routine) so I do think WEB is massive yet small

I will have to agree with you on this. I myself tried this and visited lots and lots of new sites and it looks like I'll have to install stumble again :)

Sometimes yes... All those trash and information noise makes me feeling tired of looking further or explore deeper for more info. I can't recall any quite new site which bought my attention and brought me to be back again and again.

I totally agree. There are millions of websites out there, yet I only browse through around 10 regularly.

Sorta like the Earth when you think about it. ;)

i don't feel that exactly, though it is the same for me, i also visit the same bunch of sites again and again. Most of the time am on dp, browse a few regular sites again and again, like digg etc! check mail and manage my own sites, but then i check the reviews sections also, and find a lot of new sites there!!

by the way, you are having blogeries logo in your avatar and signature, are you connected with that site somehow!
