Secure Computing launched its Domain Health Check, a free service that offers users a report on their sites' good or bad reputation. Curious about what kind of reputation your company's Web site has in the online community? Starting today, it will be easier to find out. Secure Computing, a gateway security company, on Tuesday launched its Domain Health Check, a free Web service that gives users a behavior-based view of the messaging and Web reputation of their domains. Users who sign up are e-mailed a report about the security of their domain as seen and correlated from thousands of points around the globe, according to a company release. "It's a way for companies to find out if they have a problem they didn't know about," said a spokesman for the company. "It's another form of a heads up." Make sure when you sign up that you dont use any of the common commercial e-mails such as gmail or yahoo mail. To receive a copy its best to use your webmaster mail and validate. I ran a report for my signature link website and the report below stated: Web Reputation: Neutral Web Category: Personal Pages Well feel free to post your report below in this thread and hope many of you find this service useful as "TrustedSource" has a global reputation service that tracks messaging and Web activity for every domain on the Internet. Cheers!
Frankly, the sign up process is horrendous. I didn't try it because through email verification, captcha codes, and entering personal information- I just gave after seeing all of this. Maybe if they would slim down security a little, their service would be more popular. I've never seen such protection, therefore it probably isn't needed.
Well, like i said its easy to sign up. You just got to use your webmaster mail and you can receive the verification e-mail.
