What is a reciprocal link? Is that when you submit a link to a directory and the directory expects you to add a link to them as well? Also, what would happen if you don't add the link to them? I've submitted to a lot of directories recently and haven't known what this means.
Hmm... guess I should have been linking back to them, then. What happens if I don't link back to them? Also, is there a place on this forum where you can submit links without having to reciprocate?
Chances are if they ask you to reciprocate and you don't they will not add or remove your link. If you keep checking the forum there will be lots of free directories taht offer link with no reciprocating link needed.
I was actually thinking about something similar to this too, since I have been submitting to directories lately. Which benefits me more in a directory, as a submitter: A one way link or a reciprocal link?
here are two sites that you can get links from with out a link back. They also offer deeplinks. http://www.vblinkdir.com/ and http://www.linkpowered.com/
Deep links are links that don't go to the home page of your site but to a specific page on your site. Deep links are important because they normally occur in natural link development (people will link directly to the page that is relevant to what they are talking about instead of just to the home page)
Ah, okay. That's what I thought was best so I did that first then I started submitting reciprocals, haha. Thanks.
A one way link is best for you, if you have more than 50 out bound links on the same page it will lower your pr. we offer deep links. you can trade links are pay for the links from us. we also only allow 45 links on each page. we feel this is best for all party.
A reciprocal link has lower value than a regular link, however with a reciprocal link you can get traffic.
When doing reciprocal linking, just make sure that the site you will be linking to is a good one and is not banned by the Search Engines, or should not be a bad neighborhood site. You can get more details for link building and development in this guide.
Thanks guys. Also, what's a "PR5, PR4, etc." site. I know the higher the number, the better/more reputable the site is, right?
A reciprocal link is a mutual link between two objects, commonly between two websites in order to ensure mutual traffic. Example: Alice and Bob have websites. If Bob's website links to Alice's website, and Alice's website links to Bob's website, the websites are reciprocally linked. Website owners often submit their sites to reciprocal link exchange directories in order to achieve higher rankings in the search engines. Reciprocal linking between websites became an important part of the search engine optimisation process thanks to the link popularity algorithm PageRank employed by Google, which ranks websites for relevancy dependent on the number of links that led to a particular page and the anchor text of the link. form Wiki !
Hi, I have directory here who accept deep link http://www.directorycritic.com/deep-links-directory-list.html.
Reciprocal link is linking back to sites that put your links on their site. You can submit to directories without linking back to them. Try to get links from related sites that can also help you improved your SERP.
