[Adult] Why is my traffic not buying?

I'm really confused as to what I'm doing wrong.

I'm receiving traffic, but most of them leave the page they arrive on. Some click around to the different store catagories but don't actually click on a item.

The only items I've had visited are ones I've directly linked to from my blog.

I haven't had any sales since April, and this is really bothering me.

    Help please?

You need to find out what are the keywords that the searchers use to land on your page. Your traffic may be looking for your products when they are directed to your site from Google..

To be honest your site lacks Ooomph....

There are no strong calls to action, from what I can see.

Are you tracking visitors to your site??

That front page image of ma & pa kettle might be a bit too hokey.

Not all traffic is "good" traffic, you need "targeted" traffic.... where are you currently getting traffic from?

First thing I noticed is there's no items shown for sale when I first hit the site. Take out the leather couple and stick some products there, and make sure they can be seen clearly ABOVE the page fold. That means you'll have to move up the "Welcome to..." text, etc.

I agree with everything he just said.

The design is a little dated... it looks like something from 1999 or something. I would redesign the site to be a little more "with the times" and have stronger calls to action. Your landing pages are what counts and those definitely need to be re-thought and re-built.

    Just my 2 cents.

I agree with MrX's post. You site is an adult site. People might be stealthily (is that a word) browsing while they don't think anybody is looking. Some people are embarrassed purchasing such items. You may want to have some of your best sellers listed clearly on the front page in plain sight where people can see them immediately upon entering your site.

Looks like you have some good content. Possibly making it a bit more "user friendly" so people can get in and buy more quickly might help.

    Good luck to you. :)

get quality traffic for your site. make sure that people come to your site from keywords which are most relevant to your products. Also check bounce that/top exist pages and find out reasons for that.

That picture of the couple in leather is just awkward. I just chuckled and left. Get rid of that and update the site. It needs to look 2007, not 1999.

    Good suggestions...
    Very good.

Probably, you get untargeted visitors cause they are not interested on what you offer/sell.

It's better to get 80-100 targeted visitors instead of 2,000 untargeted and you need a web page that converts visitors into buyers. So, I'm talking about "copywriting"...

That doesn't seem to be the case, as the majority of my visitors are clicking links that says something like 'buy sex toys here'. Or the google search strings are for specific items that I carry, so they are obviously looking for it to find my site.

Some people have given me good ideas on how to improve the site, others.. well... just telling me to redo the site entirely doesn't tell me anything.

    Please give me specifics.

Thanks to all who commented on the leather couple pic, I had no idea it was bad. I've since changed it. I'm thinking of putting up a new logo banner too as the current one does look kinda crappy.

I doubt these 2 things are the only reasons why people are leaving my site though. Any advice is appreciated. Thanks.

I'm still very new to this.
