Buy and sell is not an opiion section!

I am really getting sick of people jumping in buy and sell threads with their opinions of the poster and the price that they set, when they have no interest in what is posted.
Isn't there some kind of rule about that? Or is it just open season for anyone to interrupt a business thread with their personal valuation and opinion?
I have seen infractions for people who simply post good luck, because it is unrelated to the business of the thread, isn't this worse?

 

You can of course report any personal attack to mods for action.

 

Probably wouldn't be good because i lost my temper, but it is out of line, for example:
You post a domain for sale, and someone comes along, and say's, "Well based on this and this, i don't think it's worth that much"
With out asking for any information, or making a counter offer..just out of the blue.
What is that?
Completely out of line, IMO.

 

not exactly personal, but then some people do post some openions that are not required! and it takes the thread offtopic in most cases!

 

both are liable to recieve infractions. report all those blabbermouths.

 

Too late the thread is ruined, the domain will now be known for that thread.

 

If you report it, the offending comments can be deleted if the mods deem it fit.

 

It's kind of hijacking. I did it once and got infractioned (it cut me deep) when I was very new but I've learnt now - I only post a comment if I am bidding at the same time! You're absolutely right - it shouldn't be a place for people to express comment if they have no intention of bidding or buying.

 

well i had a similar incidence in which i was selling a .org proxy domain name

the person comes along and says that people will not buy .org names because they do not care about them. also proxy domains are only effective when the TLD is .info

i immediately reported it to the mods and his useless comments were deleted

I get this to sometimes, kind of ticks me off lol but I just hit the report button

do people get infractions for hijacking? I believe so.
