Does your Traffic Die during the weekends ?

Might be the niches I'm in are not good enough to be searched a lot during weekends, or is it a regular trend.

My niches vary from entertainment - to - health - to - technical.

They do great during the weekdays, but weekends have another story to say. The traffic drops almost to 60% of any worst weekday traffic.

Is it just the niches? Anyone here who's into a niche where they get almost regular pattern of traffic through out the week, please raise your hand.

When I say traffic I'm talking about Organic and not PPC or any other advertized forms. And I'm not referring to small trickles but bigger waves like 3K uniques/day on a weekday.

Same with my recipe site. 50% less traffic on the weekends.
Guess it's normal, people go out and get drunk LOL

They either go out to get drunk or forget how to spell when they come back from the clubs at night.

I have sites that are primarily used by corporate users, they die on the weekend (although India seems to blur the weekend). I have other sites that are used by school kids that are on during school time in computer lab or the library, these also die on the weekend. I think the net is slower on the weekend as people go outside and play, go to church, movies, etc and I also think the best paying ads are business related.

For me, all types of traffic die at weekends. I have all kinds of sites -blog, forum, directories, content sites... weekends are slow for each one of them.

Mine dies at the weekend too! Down nearly half every weekend. It also tends to fade at between 16-20pm JST.

I can see 10-20% less traffic during the weekends.
    That's pretty normal.

entertainment sites and blogs do not die at weekends, on the contrary the traffic rises dramatically.

On the whole, during these weeks traffic does die greatly with me.

My site gets the most traffic on weekends. Maybe because my site has mainly 13 to 20 year olds visiting and they are busy throughout the week (school, etc.)

I see a 50% decrease in traffic over the weekends. Sales are usually down over the weekends too. Summer weekends are the worst because no one is stuck inside sitting on the computer
