It's pretty obvious that they do,
    Look here:
So in honor of it's 40 million search results, I would like to sell:
    BESTCREDITCARDVALUE.COM
It is presently parked, but has been indexed for well over 3 years.
    One owner, clean history.

The keywords, and type in value speak for itself.

I am looking for $999 for it, if it's a quick sale via Wire or Pay Pal I will deal with anyone that is close, or has a reasonable offer based on it's value, or if you prefer Escrow, no problem, the Escrow price is $1250.

    Pm me if interested.

Just do a Google search on the very phrase, it's a highly searched for term/phrase every day.
Dropping the price on the domain, (oh yeah the site too) to $875.
    That is the lowest.
I know I can get more, with patience, but I am looking to clean out a few things.
    PM me if interested.
    Thanks

The number of results for a search has no direct correlation with the number of people searching for it.

Do people search for that term? Sure, but not very many...

    Searches done in January 2007
    Count Search Term
    83 best value credit card

So, then, you are not interested, and that is not an offer.

Seems to be good enough for the companies that SEO for those key words.

I wouldn't buy it just based on what I said, I would buy it because I know what to do with it, and I have experience in the niche' Get real.

Evey domain, or website will not have the same success for everybody.

You may take it and screw it up, and never make a dime, but someone else may take it and make $500 a month.

The domain is a great place to start , and I may take what ever I am offered for it, the bin is just what want for it.
I haven't sold any junk yet, and I'm not about to for a measly few hundred bucks.

TKE is right. It doesn't matter if google has lots of search results for the term. It depends on how many people search for it. If you check overture, only 83 people searched it in january, which means, at best, even if you are in the number one spot, you will get 83 uniques. Sure, if you do other advertising, and more seo stuff, you could possibly make $500 a day, but this applies to every niche, so why choose a hard one. Don't take me wrong, I am not trying to bash you or anything. It's a great domain, but because of it's length, and because there is so much competition for it in google arleady, I doubt its worth 900$

Great, Thanks for the lesson. I am more interested in hearing counter offers, not individual valuations.

I don't know how you figure traffic that hasn't happened yet about for a buyer that hasn't purchased yet, but to sit there and confidently say that this domain can only get 83 uniques...you are either reaching way above your experience, or you need more time to study the web. Overture has been unreliable for about 9 months now and January was 5 months ago.
No Body can predict that..but if you can, you should be working for a major consulting firm making 7 figures because no one else has been able to predict the future based on so many uncertain variables yet in the short history of the web,.....and if the only way you can make any money is by taking what somebody else has done, and what the tools say, you are in the wrong business. If I only did business based on webmaster tools, I would be broke and constantly searching out websites that somebody else has made profitable, hoping to ride the wave, without doing any of my own development. Not saying they don't have merit, but, they can't determine what kind of plans I have, nor the amount of work and dedication that I am going to put into a project, or what the immediate future holds for any industry, or web traffic. And they certainly do not take affiliate marketing into play.
I can prove you wrong about 71 million times using that logic.

If you are interested and have a counter offer, just make it. I really don't need a dissertation on Overture. Maybe I am used to diversifying income, it is hard to valuate for people who only think in terms of one income stream, adsense.
Most serious buyers, won't even consider a one trick pony like that and think a little broader.

I didn't say that it can get 83 uniques max. I said that from search engines, 83 uniques would be about right. There is over 49 million results on google for that search, so it would be hard to come up to #1, don't you think? And I really wasn't considering adsense (wasn't even thinking about that actually), though I would say that affliates probably won't make you that much either. You said no one can predict the future, yet you are predicting that a person can make 500$ on it a month. Well, I want take up your time anymore. It's your domain to sell, and your idea or whatever, so Ill let you do business in peace. Just wanted to give you my opinion on it.

I just don't see how you can sit there and say what someone can do with a domain, based on just your knowledge and experience.
People buy domains for all sorts or reasons not just what you have in mind for them.
I didn't ask for opinions, or valuations. I just put the thing up for sale.
If you have questions about the age, registrar ownership record, revenue, SEO, etc, please ask away.
If you have a counter offer, make it. I am open to making deals, but you are completely out of line jumping in with your opinion because it is just that, an opinion, and it's only based on Google results, and your skills.
How can you say what someone will make? or what someone else want to do with it? You only know what you can make, and what you can do with it.

This isn't an opinion thread, its a domain for sale thread.
So if that is all you can do with it, that's your business, but don't jump in and try to devalue its worth to someone else who may be looking at it for:
    A company website.
    To put in a portfolio
    Affiliate Marketing
    For a clients website
or any of the other 100 reasons that people search for specific domains.
    That's just out of line.

I just registered a domain last month that has absolutely no search results, yet in the first month I am averaging over 200 uniques a day, without any paid marketing at all, so your logic is considerably flawed.
You don't know what someone can and will do with any domain, and if you are not interested in it, it's really not your business.

I wasn't devaluing it. I was contesting what you said about it being an advantage of having more search results. Anyway, it's not 40million, but just under 7 thousand to be exact. see here I'll admit, that changes my view on it a bit, and like i said, i have no reason to argue with you, so do w/e.

And since you offered, what is the revenue that you had on the site?

I just looked the site up on smartpagerank and whois tools. Says it was registed in january of this year, so that's not 3 years as you have stated above.

    http://www.smartpagerank.com/result.php?domain=http://www.bestcreditcardvalue.com

Sorry, I shouldn't have said revenue, I was ranting. It's parked.
There is no site on it.
That why I listed it in domains.
What ever it makes, is not considered in any price, just the domain on it's own merits.
I do know that it has been indexed at least 3 years, and like I said, I may be open to any offer on it.

Would you please stop making arbitary wrong statements to promte your junk domain. Any blind SEO can tell you search results on google has nothing in common with what people type in daily. Also try adding quotes to your search as Hades suggested instead of using google like a baby in his diapers.

What is you point then. What is this dolldrum about revenue you are beating so far. Just based on indexed for 3 years you want 999$ for it, LOL, try 9$ dude.

I myself hate people making statements in business threads but you thread is full of lies. Do you realize that you are dealing with SEO experts & domainers here. do not make fool of yourself by adding baseless & false sales pitch to your low quality domain, try presenting the facts & figures if you have any.

    1. Do you traffic counters(parking stats to be precise) to share
    2. Do you know where traffic if any is originating
    3. Have you earned anything on this domain so far which justifies the price tag.
If no, whatever generic crap you are giving is applicable to any domain out there out of 75 million. I can claim a domain weallhaveasexybody.com is great and I want 1000$ for it because it is indexed since 3 years and somebody can do wonders with it. Talk to any real SEO(Not a sales guy) and you will know what I mean.

You are talking about measely few hundred bucks I can gurantee you if you have none of 3 points mentioned above nobody in his real senses is going to offer you more than 10$ for this beauty.

It is still for OK for a buyer to ask for any amount in a sale thread but adding false and foolish statements to make it look good is wrong.

First of all Jack Ass. It's my domain and my thread, so I can ask what ever the F*ck I want for it.
Second, read the section you are in. DOMAINS. NOT: Domains with traffic, Domains with revenue, Domains with Hosting, or any other stipulations that you want to put on it. There are sections for that,. This ain't it. So I do have it posted in the right section.
Third, you don't know what I have, nor do you know me, so who the F*ck are you to say what I can offer an interested party.
Forth, If that's how you ask to see stats, GFY. Who are you?!

You got some other smart remarks to make, learn how to spell MR 5 posts.
When did you start telling people what kind of post they can make and what price to ask?
You are not dealing with some punk kid here. So you can pump your chest up in someone elses thread, you get no points here for being a jack ass.

    You should have just asked.
    You are an idiot!

You got something else to say, idiot?

Where are the false statements? All I stated was the search results on that particular day.
You don't like the asking price, then move on.
You got a counter offer? Make it.
Did you even ask for any traffic?
NO. You just jumped down my throat!
Have you ever done business with me? NO!
Do you see anyone that I have done business with complaining or leaving any negative remarks?

Lot of nerve just jumping in a thread and telling me what I can and can't do.
You have no cause, no proof, and no right.
    Make your own thread.

How am I wrong for selling a domain for what I think it's worth?
Where is my mistake, not putting the price that you think it should be?
Are there any false claims of what it is?
Am I allowed to post what i want?
    What are you talking about?

..and since you brought that up, you have to be kidding right? With all the fraudulent sales threads around here claiming $500 a month adsense sites, auto blogging MFA, Cheat scripts, and straight out ripp offs, and you are in my sh*t for setting an asking price for a domain?
    Get real!
    It is what it is.
You don't like it, so what!
I don't need to make anything "Look good", either you like it or you don't.
All I said is that it is a searched for phrase. and it is.
Where is the misleading in that. Everybody here has a search bar, this ain't some back alley.
Don't even come at me like I did something wrong simply by putting up a for sale thread , Just because you don't like the price.
You didn't ask me for docs, you just went off on how I don't have them therefore I am doing something fraudulent.
So for that you are an idiot.

how is it indexed 3 years? Google can't even find it in it's cache. Maybe im wrong and that doesn't mean that it's not indexed, though that's what it sounds like. Hmm.. Anyway, he closed it, there is no point in talking about this anymore. I think all of the insults were really unneccesary.

Dude, I haven't registered a new domain that is for sale in over 3 1/2 years.
Are you going to tell me I'm lying about that too, based on your theory?
How does the parked page come up if it's not indexed!!!???

You were never interested anyway and you have accomplished your mission to interrupt my business thread for your own opinions and agenda.
Well done, you are officially a knob.
Just leave it alone, and I will be sure to look out for your threads in the future, and they better be perfect.
