A spam catcher, better than CAPATCHA!

I am selling a novel PHP script which is very simple to install into existing forms to prevent spam bots from submitting data via your form. It has the same outcome as the CAPATCHA random image method however this does not require any input from the genuine user.

I have used and tested it on several of my websites to great effect. Remember this require PHP.

You can use the script wherever you like upon purchase, but not resell. The price I am asking for this is $10 via Paypal. I am also open to trades.

Let me know if you are interested.

There is little point in a demo in this case as it only targets spam bots, and therefore doesn't affect the user in any way so you wouldn't notice a thing.

It would still be nice to see what we would be buying.

What you are buying is the script.. so to show you it would take it's value away. I know it's weird, in any other case I would show you a demo. It's only $10, and the script does tackle the growing problem of automated form filing spam bots.

I will explain how the script works upon purchase.

Don't expect any sales then. People don't buy what they can't see.

You do understand that if we can't see your script in action (even screenshots would be good), then there's a chance that you might be adding in random php commands that has no effect and passing it as a bot-recognition script.

Is your script any better than Bad Behaviour?

I'm not sure what you want to see exactly. The action of the script is undetectable by a standard browser, there is nothing to display, it is all backend and focuses on targetting methods which spam bots use. The script checks whether fields are being filled out automatically and within 5 seconds.

The script is not more than 10 lines in total and every line is accounted for.

    Interested.
What percentage do you believe it is currently able to reject correctly?
What are the chances it will reject a real live user? ("false positive")
    Cheers

    1. It's hard to say as I don't log when a spam bot is caught. However the methods in the script 100% counter the tactics used by almost all spam bots. Spam bots in their very nature blast data at forms without any real intelligence. They aim to act fast and that is where my script catches them.

    2. It will only reject a genuine user if the form is submitted within 5 seconds, which is one of the two catching methods. However it explains to the user the problem and to wait just a second longer after clicking back. You are free to change the minimum time limit as is relevant to the length of your form. The other method is almost 100% spam-bots only.

    Hope that helps.
