you must build backlinks for your site. in my opinion, http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?t=315153 will be a good start point for you
maybe he just wants to sell links...or maybe he thinks that by increasing his PR he will be increasing his traffic too. get links to your site....since you just need PR it doesn't matter the topic.....just get links....the better links you get, the higher your PR will be...
Exactly, i've got grey PR pages ranking top 3 for 220 Million plus result terms pulling 1,000 visitors per day per page. I can't stress enough to forget about PR and focus on your sites logs, traffic numbers, what pages are getting the most hits and why, then implementing this key in pages with low hits etc. Also data such as how many pages are in Supp results, and ways to pull them out and get them ranking. If you just want PR to sell links, well it's a bad way to make money. Time and money spent chasing the green bar adds up and the links you sell hardly cover the costs and effort.
Spot on. But do you remember when you first started out? It takes months or years to get out of the "PR is my life" phase. I've tried to tell sooooo many people, but failed. They just have to learn themselves.
When i started out there wasn't any PR. But yes i do remember when it started and how much of a fixation it was to everyone (including myself). It's really not until you own a few PR 6/7 sites that you start to go been there done that and move on. It's like most things in life, he who hasn't got it wants it and he who has it takes it for granted.
