i just got a check from google today

I had to wait 2 months due to my ignorance, I did not know I had to request a PIN number, well I did last month and I finally got it today. I got 288.93!! whoopeee!

 

I love getting checks from google. Adsense paid me today also.

Yeh? I didn't know this either. But then again, I haven't started actively using adsense until a couple of weeks ago so haven't had the need to. What is this pin you are referring to?

They will send you a four digit PIN once you reached your first 50 bucks to verify your address.

 

Be careful, isn't it against TOS to reveal exactly how much $$$ made?

You have to apply for the PIN afaik. It's just a one click thing though. The phone verification is the same, but if that fails (which it has been doing a lot recently) - a quick email to the AdSense support team and they manually verify you.

EFT's are the way forward though - not cheques

got my first check yesterday as well.
the envelope was open so i almost crapped my pants, but nothing was stolen
there was only one sheet with the check attached to it.
is there anything else that comes in that envelope?
