My vote absolutely goes for GOOGLE, i respect Yahoo only because it have many good (but not good as Google's ) services...
I am starting to see the exact same as are others. Rob Haswell's post is a perfect example. Shame Yahoo doesn't bring as much traffic as Google.
Yahoo is second to Google. Yahoo is one of the best search engine. What if MSN buy Yahoo? Who is the best of the two?
That's the problem. Google is taking over... everything. Especially statistics and internet usage data. Between their ownership of feedburner, doubleclick, Analytics, AdSense, and their search engine, Google has usage data on almost every website and internet user out their. Personally, I feel it's time to back another horse, lest we have another Microsoft on our hands. Yahoo seems decent enough to back, and boycotting Google is the only way to prevent them from exploiting your personal information.
I actually stopped using youtube after google took over. The site really went downhill after the merger IMO. (mainly because of the lawsuits and such).
Yahoo! and MSN are really bing in the US. You'd be surprised to find out that Google is MUCH bugger in Europe. At least from what I know Google is 90% and the rest cover the remaining 10%.
I would say that google is pretty much way better because of the fact that Google is really based off its search engine yahoo kind of streatches out.
There is no best. Both are searched A LOT and both get millions of visitors a month. Put it this way...There is no best search engine. Unless Google controls the entire market, they'll never be the best.
