Read and talk with other people. Learn a new word from the dictionary everyday. No course can guarantee command over the language. It may improve your abilities, but you can do that in the offline world as well.

The word writing contains only one t

For a beginning, write your articles in Word with insane grammar and spelling check on - you will see a pattern emerge as to what constitutes good writing.

Read and read some more. Yes, reading isn't your problem, but it's your solution.

By reading, you can see how others write and talk. Read magazines, newspapers and other reliable sources. I'd advise against reading blogs and such, because you can pick up very poor writing habits.

Start with the professional publications in a topic you're interested in. The newspaper is a good start, because there are lots of different stories. I'd start with the USA Today. It's pithy and written for the reader on the go. It's not more "formal" like the NY Times.

    Good luck!

I'd say that the only way to learn English is to do both: read AND write. It's a good idea to be active in forums like this: any forums that deal with topics you are interested in. Install spell check in firefox, so at least you get your spelling right.

Your grammar isn't that bad, though you need to watch out for using singular when your subject is plural and vice versa.

There ARE (plural) many online courseS (also plural).

It is hard to find a (singular) good online course (also singular).

    Practice makes perfect.

Do lot of reading and a lot of practises. I used to write and read a lot in English and right now writing in english is easier for me than writing in my national language.

Try Microsoft Word spell and grammar checker too. It helps a lot in your writing.

    Practice, practice and more practice.

Besides that, get hold of a SAT preparation book, the one which has Writing Skills. I gave the old SAT, so it was in SAT II, I think its part of SAT I now. It'll help you alot.

When I was younger, I used to open the dictionary on a random page, and I read the page. It really helped me a lot after all; knowing that I learnt many new words, just by reading a couple of pages per day.

It's not a bad idea to do this, but the best thing to do is to observe people with English as their first language. This way you can understand idioms and how the culture is etc.

    Hope it helps.

Some advise also from a newbie :)

Try to read and write a lot of articles. The best place to try is at your own blog. Try to write an English article and let people comment on you. Don't get emotional if any people who critic your grammar. Learn from them.

I used this kind of method to help me improve my writing skill. It's works, dude! :D

The best is simply word-grammar suggestions. But the best is really just advice from humans. So if you can afford to, take some class.

The best and the fastest way to excel and improve the level of your spoken and written second language is to live in the area where the language is spoken. The more you speak to native speakers the better you learn the language.

start by writting about your interest, your life, simple stuff using basic english. Dont forget to used other tools like MS word where you can check grammar and spelling. watch english movies. think in english so your mind wont have a hard time translatting it into english when you are about to write it.
