How often does Google update their Pagerank?

    Great forum here. Must be one of the best places on the net for optimizing your website. I was curious, how often does Google update their Page rank? I've been moving up on Alexa rather quickly but the PR seems to move slower. Any ideas?

    Google updates the PR every day. Its just the green bar they show us that is updated only each 3rd month.

    Google update page rank every three months - the next PR update will be on July.

    PAGE RANK usually updates every three months but the Real PR is updated all the time. :) The last PR updates happens on the 4th week of April. April 28, 2007

    So the next update will happen on end of June or first of July approximately...

    3-4 months is good time to check for PR update. I think, next update would be in the month of August/September. :)

    Yeah, Google update 3-4 months and we use this tool http://livepr.raketforskning.com/ for checking PR.

    Google updates the PR every day but the new value is updated in google toolbar every 3 months. Last PR updates - 27 April 2007

    There is no fixed time frame for google to update their page rank algorithm, It can be updated after a week or month.

    The PR fluctuates every now and then, but the visible PR updates happen once in 3 months if I'm not wrong.

    Yes, it's not only about quantity but also about quality. If all your links are from very weak web pages, then it's normal.
