I want to know if a adsnese foreign publisher can cash his check (recieved in another country) in india. Payee name is same only country is different. Also i want to know is it possible to change your adsense country. Is the process simple to do..
Adsense doesn't pay by paypal. It will depend on your bank. You can ask their customer support on phone but most chances in my opinion are that they won't do this.
IMO the best option is to be paid by Electronic Fund Transfer (EFT). But I don't know if that option is available in India. If you are being paid with checks, you must go to your Bank to monetize that check. You can do that with an account on dollars or on your own currency, but on both options the bank will retain a commision.
well not much familiar with it.but the name of payee can't be changed and locations can be change.and in india you get paid with in 3-4 days if you have citi bank a/c.
According to my information YES you can CASH your CHECK to different Country. Note: Your PAYEE name must be accurate as your ACCOUNT TITLE.
Amazing how many problems there are with checks in India. Couldn't possibly be because of people setting up accounts with false information to get back in after a ban, now, could it?
I think Adsense will clue in that a cheque they issued to a publisher in another country (ie Canada etc...) is cashed in India. The bank may take it but Adsense may not honor it and it could affect your Adsense account and future payments.
That is a completely wrong assumption to make! If a company does not honor a cheque when a bank presents it (given that the cheque is genuine), they will be taken to court so fast your head will spin. Period. However if you try to cash it in another country than the one in which the cheque was issued, the bank may charge a ridiculously large amount for taking the cheque. /miko67
They may honor that particular check, however they may take some serious looks at your account, and may not issue any more.
Taken to court by who? If a company suspects fraud and that someone other than the intended recipient is cashing the check they do not have to honor it - pending further verification.
