    I'm selling houseofpolitics.com

It has pr5 and a pretty sizable forum where many people join each day.

It ranks pretty high in keywords such as political forum and politics forum.

    I'm selling it for $2000+.

    PM me if interested.

Alexa only counts the people who have alexa bars installed.

So I wouldn't know how accurate it is, since the forum is visited by people who are interested in politics.

I agree, you can't place too much value on Alexa. Particularly with smaller sites.

I don't run google ads. I planned on running it when it got big.

And no they don't know that I'm selling it. Putting it up on the market for sale doesn't mean that it'll sell.

PM me if interested. We can bargain the price a bit too.

Place ads on the site and watch the revenue for a few days then try and sell.

I think that will help justify your asking price because right now you're selling for $1800 and the buyer has no idea of the revenue potential unless that happen to own a political forum.

    Help us make the decision.

I just didn't want to put in the ads before it got big because then it would scare off the members. i don't want to lose traffic by placing the ads yet. If no one buys, then i'll keep working on it until it gets big enough and put in ads. But by then, i'll probably sell for much more.

I've done some quality SEO work and i'm sure that it'll rank top 5 on keywords like "political forum" sooner or later.

the website is really new and it already hovers around the top 10. i'm pretty sure that it'll have pr 6 or even 7 on the next update

i'm trying to sell it off now because i have a really good idea on another project that i want to work on.

    heres my thoughts

PR5 - you could make around $250/month from text link ads - providing you sell all 10 slots for the going rate of $25/month.

If you tried to sell text links by yourself here on DP you could maybe make $80/month if it went well.

With adsense used properly, like here on DP, you may make a few dollars each month, maybe even more. But nobody knows as you havent even bothered to try it out.

So with no revenue, how can i justify spending $2000 on a site. I could spend $1000 on a new forum of my own and have more members and revenue than your site. Im not trying to rip you here, just trying to get a justification of your asking price
