How are blogs created - the ones that auto fill themselves with fresh content regurlarly. I use wordpress. Mike
mods? hacks? plugins? there must be a free script out there, i see auto blogs for sale all the time in the site sales forum
IF it's an auto blog it is not Unique content. That's an oxymoron. Trust me, those MFA's get no love, and will be getting less in the very near future. If you don't want to take the time and effort to create quality content, don't expect SE, or PR love. Too many people trying to do it the right way, and you will not be able to compete without Black Hat ricks, which will get you banned anyway. If your heart is not in it, and you have no interest in creating something useful, why dabble in the web anyway? You think it's easy money or something? Seriously, I am looking to understand the mindset of why people think that the web takes less dedication than any other business?
what if you are trying to run 6 blogs that are the same? To get more traffic? So all the content really is original, only it is copied to 5 other blogs? and the 5 copied blogs all send traffic somehow to your main blog. IMO this would be a good idea, not a bad idea.
If you have 5 blogs with copied content...how is that original content. The bots only see duplicate, they don't see, "But these are all mine". 5 separate blogs, with 5 different subject matters, and original posts on each, is Original content, once you copy it, and post it, you just shot yourself in the foot. Now you have 5 worthless blogs. Just make one good one, and post original content everyday. There are no shortcuts to success. NONE! You can't speed it up. you are not going to overwhelm the SE's with "stuff". Do you understand the complexity of the algorithms that run these things? They didn't get to be this accurate and this successful by being able to be "Faked out" by 5 identical blogs. And....Original content is a small piece of getting traffic. Original content is the retainer of the traffic, you still have to do the work to get traffic. People (visitors) are not going to run and find you just because you posted, especially if you bury yourself in the supplemental index by copying the same information over, and over again. .......and if you think you are going to put adsense on duplicated blogs with the same content, you have not been paying attention in this forum. It's not about, "Well I'm going to do it this way, and it should work", It's about, listening to the owners of the technology telling you how to do it, and then applying it to your situation.
The problem with this and many sites on the Internet is that people don't care about the business just the dreams of get rich quick schemes. This is why you see everyone jumping on the band wagon for anything that people claim to make big money on...ex: proxies, MySpace sites, auto blogs, MFA sites, etc... It all about quantity not quality. These are often the same people that are scammed for falling for deals that are too good to be true. I say avoid the auto-blog and go for quality original content. Improve the Internet, don't clog it up with more useless duplicate sites. JMO
It's amazing. I have truly never seen so many people waste their time and money. And 10 years too late, I might add.
I Just watch the post and as soon as someone finds something good, a few weeks later, there are hundreds of the same types of sites. I am far from a big money maker Online, but I prefer to be original but I do have a regular job so I am not as desperate to find the easy money.
If you are just looking to use a RSS feed to supply your blog with content that is being published on another site, then it will be duplicate content and will, as Hmansfield pointed out, not be getting any search engine love. The only way, that I know of, to go about creating an auto gen site that would actually have a chance of being a success would be to remix the data from an API, or API's, and turn it into something unique and useful. If you could create something like that, then you would get some search engine love.
That's OK. It's like watching puppies chase their tail. The more people that keep running in circles, it's just more crappy sites and blogs, that give the good ones merit. They are actually helping us, and in a way, by staying out of our way, and not being a competition threat, so that we can make money.
i write unique content for 2 of my blogs. Just thought i would see how it goes the other way. eg more SE traffic, more indexed pages to sell backlinks on etc.
I have used auto blogging and I agree with what you guys are saying here. I had a few auto blog sites that were pulling data from Amazon's XML data feed and the search engines were indexing these product specific pages for a while and then they just drop out the blog and stop indexing pages
i dont believe automatic content will get success. is there anybody who get success with automatic content
Many. The trick is to use content that hasn't been overused. Try to find feeds that only a few sites use.
