just switched guitar site to wordpress

It is a misty theme, but i changes colors and header image.

 

I dont have much to say about the theme itself, it's been thoroughly reviewed and widely available and used at this point.

Nevertheless, your header image is top-notch!

The design is okay, for your adsense ad on the left, I think it would work better with the same grey background color you have there... with blue ad links.

 

well, its a sample design, almost a default wordpress template, you should considere designing something better to keep your visitors coming back.

 

I woul imagine that people go to sites for the content, not the look. In fact, some of the blogs i go to most use the kubrick template (the default WP template).....

 

People go for sites for the content + Design, why do you want to look like most websites? The internet business is all about originality , anyway that was my opinion, its up to you to decide..

Hi, I didn't see navigation back to your blog after you go to the forum at your site, did I miss it and just need to look more thoroughly? I'd say that is the only tweak I'd recommend (if any) about the site. I like it alot!

You're right. There isn't one yet. I am still tweaking the forum. I need to replace the default image with my logo. I play on doing it this week when i have time.
(Also, i left the logo on my laptop computer, which i left at work. And we've been off since thursday so i have not beed able to get it) I will make the header logo link back to the site. But good catch!

The switch to wordpress is something you will never regret.

Be sure you have the plugin that lets people "subscribe to comments" as this really helps with user activity and repeat visitors to the site.
