2. Pick a category that interests you.
3. Find three applicable sites that suit the category & apply what you learned in step #1
4. Fill out your application (be truthful about affiliations)
5. ** Wait 14 days and ask for a status check at Resource-Zone
6. ** Forget it...

#5 & 6 are optional

Ultimately though, join because you care about the web community and want to see the ODP be the best it can be. You are doing no favors for anyone if you are doing it just to get YOUR site listed.
