They are ok, I no longer use them because they sent a cheque with my name spelled wrongly.
my name has an apostrophe in it and in the cheque they had written the HTML code for '

I currently use Adbrite and I have used them many times in the past, for me Adsense was superior when it came to revenue, however Adbrite allows you to selectively accept CPM or CPC, right now I am testing out thier CPM system which might benefit my site more. Using Adbrite over adsense I made 5-10 times less doing CPC with Abrite.

Also I should mention it really depends on the kind of site your running, for example if your running a site where you all you care about is clicks and can mask your ads around content then Abrite might be better however be warned Adsense takes things much more serious, you are required to know everything you can and can't do with there ads. It simple comes down to what your site needs. Just remember these two aren't the only advertisers out there, you might want to consider YPN and clicksor as well for CPC, or CanepMedia and ValueClick for CPM.

Tried Adbrite for a couple of weeks. Was averaging around .01 ecpm for US traffic. With Adsense, I earn around .30. No contest, Adsense beats Adbrite hands down. Plus, Adbrite seems to of had viruses when I tested them. Never had that with Adsense.

Ironically, while adsense is the top online marketter in the U.S. Adbrite is the most used worldwide from what I've heard.

Adbrite works when your website has great traffic (over 1M Uvs per month). For websites with less traffic, adbrite is not worth trying. Thats what I have experienced.

No, not for all niche off course, but most times you need good traffic to earn bucks from Adbrite.

Why didn't you just ask them to send you another check with the correct name on it.

I have had to do that in the past.

Adbright is great for advertising your site and the reporting is good, however adbright will never be able to bring in the revenue like Adsense.

Why not try both? You are allowed to run both ads on your site so long as they don't look the same.
