This is my baby and I hate to see her go, however I have too many other projects and I’m growing tired of balancing everything all at once.

    Starting Price: $25
    Min. Bid Increment: $10
    Reserve: $399
    BIN: $599

Auction ends on Wed., 05/30/07 at 6:00PM CST (-6GMT)
I reserve the right not to sell this website for any reason I see necessary.
PayPal prefered although I'm willing to do escrow also.

    General Stats:
    Google Page Rank: 2/10
Predicted to become a PR4 (source)
    Backlinks:
    iWebTool says 151 (source)
    Google says 195 (source)

    Indexed Pages:
    Google (with www): 1,900 (source)
    Google (without www): 2,850 ()
    Yahoo:

    More Stats:
I only have awstats for the past 8 days since I changed servers.

    Google Analytics (April)
    Google Analytics (May)

    Things worth mentioning:

    Good things:
-Included in this auction is the .COM, .NET and .INFO domains of the same name, Videogre.
-Predicted to become a Page Rank 4
-Steady Traffic the past month and a half
    -Nearly 600 Registered Members
-Another Ad program would probably bring in much more revenue.
-The site doesn’t hog server resources

    Notable Things:
-I am paying a team 20% of our revenue to submit 10-15 Movie links per day. This helps me worry about the newer releases while they take care of everything else.
-Site is running a slightly modified version of Directory97 PRO
-The add.php page has a very odd Page Rank Flaw (ranked 5/10 whereas the actual site is a 2). See this here- http://tinyurl.com/3aso8p. The backlinks are somehow coming from phpfound.com, which happens to be using the same script. Not that it matters, just thought it was interesting.

    Bad Things:
The script has some flaws that can sometimes make modifying submissions a tedious job. However, anyone with basic php and MYSQL knowledge can fix these minor issues in a matter of minutes. I just don't have the "know-how" to do this.
Google Adsense is banned from Videogre.

I will try to answer any questions as best I can. Please PM me if you would like more (specific) information regarding the website.

There are no legal issues with the website since it doesn't physically host any video files. The site is basically a directory of streaming video links that are found on dailymotion, youtube, veoh and other video community sites.

It only uses about 20-30GB bandwidth per month. You should be fine with a shared hosting account. As for my hosting, I moved to a $300 dedicated server only because I had 8 proxy sites sharing the resources. But as I said, a medium sized shared plan would likely be fine for this site.

Sorry, I've added a Starting Price of $25. $10 increments please.

BIN is set for $599- That's less than 4 months revenue!
    Thanks,
    Jake

your main problem with this site is that
    1- is banned from adsense
2-even if you do not host videos on your server, the site smells fishy for some of people who want to be completely correct.
Good Luck with the sale anyway, i love that you gave all the details required, no more pms to be send, etc, this is exemplary.

Thanks for the kind words. I do agree with you that adsense being banned from the site isn't helping this sale. There's hundreds of streaming websites who are running adsense..My site just happened to be in adsense's sites for whateverreason. That's another story in itself, though.

To clear this up, the website is 100% legal in every sense of the word. I can guarantee there will be never be any legal issues with direct regards to the site. Now, whether it is ethical or not is a different story. It is perfectly ethical in my opinion, and you're right, some people may feel differently.

Why do you have reserve 399$ and bidding start at 25$. You should start at 399$. All those bids are useless now, because you won't sell that for less then 399$

Edit: Ok now I had an idea that reserve does not mean you won't sell, but you have a right not to sell under 399$

    Good luck

The site has been running for about 3 months, about 50 days with the current script. About 65-70% of traffic comes from OVGuide.com, about 5% comes from search engines and the remaining traffic from various related websites and link exchanges.

I had no further plans for promoting the site aside from exchanging links. As long as the site has updated content (new movies and TV shows) it tends to promote itself through word of mouth.
