Wordpress Pending Comments - Mass Delete?

I have a blog which I have neglected and am wanting to mass delete all the pending comments. It's got to the point whereby when I open the moderation page in the admin panel, it always crashes because there's too many comments.

Is there a SQL query I can insert in PHPMyAdmin to mass delete all the pending comments in Wordpress?

 

Go to PHPmyadmin. Find the db for your blog. Find the "comments" table, tick it and click "empty".

Job done.

I think it will do both but not 100% sure.

Run the following SQL statement on your Wordpress database.

DELETE FROM wp_comments WHERE comment_approved = '0'
