Google webmaster tools lie.

In my Query stats (All data is averaged over the last 7 days.) all the key phrases are in top positions as of before the 12th. On the 12th of May my SERPs were gone until today, the 27th. The tool still ranks my keyphrases on top, so i should think it's useless!!

Google rank me on 5 position based on webmaster tools, for a keyword that does not even exist in my website. So, something is surely wrong.

If they update it once a month, why they put this on their page? "All data is averaged over the last 7 days." And they were never acurate before, not even a single key phrase. Who needs their tools, all of them suck!

LOL :D Me too they ranked a key phrase that never shows up on my site. There is nothing right about google any more. I am sure they cought a monster virus. Even their SER suck. You can find link farms and door sites for major competitive key words in top ten. Google is going down!

This may because of inbound links. You may receive strong links from other relevant sites on the keywords..

I saw a interview with Vanessa Fox, she said that the info provided via Webmaster Tools is a week old.

Also keep in mind that the Webmaster Tools data is gathered from a version of Google based in the US. So its rankings will be different than those in other countries, and possibly different across regions of the US as Google gets more focused on geo-location as a ranking factor.

Well look at it this way..

They have prolly Thousands (perhaps millions) of site data.. updating every site even in 7 days duration is not an easy job..
The Site data is not updated per 7 days BUT the error status and crawl states are updated every 7 days for sure :)

And keep in mind that Google is providing you extra information that no other search engine does.
I always find it usefull even if the data is not 100% accurate or Up-to-date (BTW I check it twice in a month only).
It is very handy if you only want to monitor your monthly progress (And Errors of course)..

Well.. my friend you don't know me...
I am not one of those who love Google for anything. I am talking about logic.

No one is forcing you to use Google webmaster tools, if you find that it sucks just don't use it, you wont loose anything, will you?

But if your intention is to bash Google, feel free to continue, take out your anger, if it makes you feel good :)

I am sorry, i didn't try to put any anger on you :) I just like to say things as they are, if they suck....well, what else can i say. Let me give you an example: you know that in Europe McDonalds is so bad, it smells awful 3 blocks away, people still go there and bring their children. I went there once long time ago and had a stomach pain after. So, now, do i have the right to say, they suck? Or should i keep quiet because they gave me a free ice-cream in my meal?
