Do you think adsense track from where the visitors come from? (referrer)

if i send lots of traffic all from the same place can i be banned?

Yes they track where clicks come from. They track to see if you use traffic exchanges and paid sites.

If the hits are from any sites that are not allowed you will be banned.

yes of course they track the refer... also advertisers can use google analytics to see if your traffic is bad as a adsense publisher.

yup, most like if you are trying traffic from autosurf, traffic exchange, toplist, proxy traffic then there are high chances of the account getting banned.

Please read the tos to avoid your account from getting banned

the referer is always sent... it has nothing to do with Adsense or your server its browser headers.

In this case, if google tries to trace the referrer then they will get only my homepage as a referrer and not the real referrer..

    Am I right, Shoemoney?

no... the real refer will be sent. It is also passed on to the adwords advertiser as well.

All clicks are recorded and the referral goes with them :) This includes IP address etc.

Yes, they track everything or as much as possible ;)

    No, it wont.

Visitor came from SITE1 to your HOMEPAGE
From HOMEPAGE visitor goes to a SUBPAGE where Google Ads are served

On SUBPAGE , referral = HOMEPAGE not SITE1

Because Ads are not served on your MAINPAGE, Google will not see the referral.
But Google tracking algo might also track page history, and will discover SITE1

Verdict: Don't even dare to cheat Google:D
