I have got an expired domain related website So I got the idea of having a subscription website where you have access to daily updated lists of expiring domains that are available at the point of submission. Would you pay $10 a month for a daily updated easy to use list of domains that have dropped and available to be registered? It'll be an easy to use system with lots of features such as PR, backlinks, indexed pages, PR of indexed pages and much more.
I wouldn't pay $10 on a monthly basis ... but I would pay a couple of $'s on an adhoc basis to get a list domains when I'm looking to buy some.
I'd be willing to pay $10 per month if it would provide lists of PR / traffic domains in reasonable numbers. Many of the expired domain sites / lists that I've seen tend to have domains that have already been backordered or picked up - and if there are too many members on your list, then everyone gets dissatisfied. Can you pm a sample list (or url) - maybe with a small payment, trial basis?
One day list at $1 / $2 might be better, limited trials with reviews / feedback - with your subscription rates at $10 per month, that works out to 33 cents per day. You really aren't going to make all that much through trials - the real value would be if you get decent feedback.
this is still an idea in the planning. I plan to make it only domains that are available to be registered at the time of post rather than ones that havn't dropped yet. So If i make a cheap day trial for $1 and a feedback then it would be better?
No, I wouldn't pay, because services like this are already available - for free. Visit namepros for more info on them.
I am a member of NP but I can't see that feature. Can you show me a link? Also the ones that are free tend to be back-ordered thus there is no chance of getting it.
plenty of places offer this same service for free. it used to be that you had to compare daily lists of domains which would range into the millions in order to see which ones had dropped off. but today, lists of recently expired domains are freely available to the masses...
but there are a couple of ones with special extra features and are pretty long and ready to register at the moment of posting. why wouldn't be a good idea to make something like that?
If you could provide a real time list of domains that are actually available to register, that would be great. I would pay for that service.
I would pay for it if it showed backlinks, PR, etc. Services that do that are available now and expensive. You are going to need quite the server and IP collection to do that many inquiries and not get blocked though.
One-time membership fee for something like this would be fine. I've seen dropped domain lists before, so much junk to look at before you can find something really worth buying. No monthly fees, that's my vote. By the way, the poll statement is a bit misleading. It doesn't mention the nature of the payment when it should give enough information that one could use without having to go ahead and read comments, I think.
