Dynamic IP

    sup guy, not sure if this is the right place to ask but i couldnt find more suitable section.
    My ip is real but still dynamic how can i make it static?

    i dont know if you can change? only dsl can do that. If you want your ip changed phone up ISP and ask to change it but you need good excuse!

    you cant have a static ip, if you have a dynamic DSL line, of course you can let your computer ON forever but as soon as there is a deconnexion or your computer freeze you will lose your ip, you need to change your connexion and ask your isp for a static ip.

    a disconnection may occure because of a reboot, freeze, ISP problem...

    after such disconnection you have to set up the DNS Service again? :eek:

    i have dynamic IP ... well, if i wanted to have a static ip i could do it since my ISP has a plan with static ip .

    The only way to make it static is leaving all the day your computer on ...
