Costa Rica Unplugged Logo - What do you think?

My upcoming website will be all about Costa Rica, the real Costa Rica. The stories, events, pictures, showing the country to the world. The site name is Costa Rica Unplugged and here is the logo. My partner thinks it's too tame, so I would like to get some of you guys' input as well.

Very clean, I love it! However.. I think the dark blue font could be green instead?

 

its nice but it needs a little more sizzle......

Thanks, funny thing an old friend of mine just IMed me and he does logos, so I may have him try another one as well. Thank you so much for your input, guys. What do you think a logo should have for a site that is about entertainment, nightlife, great beach spots and everything that CR has to offer? Of course there will be a galery of hot girls (and guys I guess ) as well, and some of the pics will be a little daring.

 

I was envisioning a larger banner with a collage of CR things... A bit of everything a picture says a thousand words so let your logo do alot of talking fo ryou.

 

What I like about this logo is that I think it's unique and brandable. And I myself guided him to do it like this. My partner got back today and was not that impressed, but the designer is awesome, I just failed to make him see our vision.

 

Let us know when you have another I'd be interested in checking it out. I like the mosaique idea.

I think its pretty good for the theme.

 

I am still undecided. In addition to the party pics and videos, we will also have the family friendly information pages about wildlife, the rainforest and stuff to do for kids. I guess the logo would be cool for that. Still going to decide within a couple of days.

 

Maybe if you kept what you have but somehow fit some "sizzle" into the word "unplugge"... it would probably look tacky, but it would be really nice if you could pull it off

 

Ahh great idea, may create a few different versions.

 

Try to make the letter a bit bolder.

 

Thanks for the suggestion. Setting up a forum and a blog now and then will decide what to do with the logo.
