HELP!! Installing PHPLD

    Hello friends,

    I have an dir ( www.sharengain.com ) already but for that the Phpld was installed by my close friend but he is busy now... So i want to upload Phpld for another site...
    www.abhishekdaaga.info
    I uploaded all the phpld script through ftp but when i m opening the site it is showing the error
    "The installer cannot start.
    Please make sure that the folder /home2/sharncom/public_html/abhishekdaaga/temp/templates is writeable by the user the webserver runs under."

    What should i do ??

    Did you purchase the phpLD script? If so then first off when you purchase that script you are only permitted to use it on one domain. If you wish to use it on another domain you are required to purchase the script again.

    If you are using a free version of phpLD:
    The error is telling you that you need to change the permissions for that particular folder to make it writeable. Easy to di if you are using cPanel (just click "change permissions"), also most ftp programs will allow you to do that.

    On another note - you should not post your user ID in a public form or anywhere else. It can pose a possible security threat to your site. Your acct ID is listed after "home2" in the url above. If it isnt too late I recommend that you edit your post and remove that portion.

    Hi,
    Please follow the instructions provided in the INSTALL.txt it should be help u install it with ease..

    Btw just follow these steps and the current problem should be solved:

    chmod 777 the following dir's

    /temp
    /temp/templates
    /temp/adodb
    /temp/cache

    You need to Chmod the files..
    Read the instruction note which comes with the package.
