I have bought life time links in the past, and after a month the link has been removed due to selling of the website or just some nut that owns the website. I will not buy life time links anymore, but how many times has this happend to you or is it just me it happens to? lol
That sucks. Hasn't happened to me yet, thankfully. Make sure that the directory is reputable and established before buying some links.
Wow, that sucks indeed. You might want to check how long the website exists already. I the website is over 4 years old, it might be better than a website that just started 2 days ago..
Well, it sure is demoralising. Never go for life-time links, as normally, no such thing as life-time link really exists, unless you are referring to sites like Google, Microsoft...etc.
Well I buy a cheap lifelong link on Indian sport forums but forums was closed within 10 days and I lost my money and also link too. After than I never buy any links.
one guy said to me its out of his hands as he sold the site lol he had the site for over a year. Never mind we leanr by our mistakes
These days I dont buy any link, I never really did unless they were really cheap. When we sell life time links we meen it, but people out there that dont mess it up for us webmasters.
am in a similar situation, i need to update my site, i have banners on my site for one year, i can't put them on the new site, because i can't edit a cms!! am planning to give him a permanant link, in exchange of the one year banner! but then he has not responded yet!
lol funny thing is I had to do this for a year link when i updated my site, I was ok as the people were even more happy, if you are worried try and offer them something a little extra to acount for the messing. Its not like your removing there site And yes adwords would have been better for mr
I never buy anything on permanent basis. Too expensive and never gurantee the webmaster will honor its promise.
