Moscow Metro, which spans almost the entire Russian capital, is one of the world's most heavily used metro systems. It is well known for the ornate design of many of its stations, which contain beautiful examples of socialist realist art.
These are really beautiful creation from the commie era. Can't imagine a train station can be turned into a nice place.
that's a metro??? crazy. I'm pretty sure nothing in the USA can even hold a match to that!! love the pictures too
nice pictures I wonder when I can get there, honestly one of the picture made me dizzy the design is something like a loop.
Wow, those are cool lenses that they used to take those photographs (unless it was photoshopped). I especially love the last photograph!
If I had to guess I bet it was shot with a wide angle lens, ~ 10-15mm and then stitched in PS, probably as many as 10 images per picture
you know your stuff! How do they stitch it so well? I would assume that they look a bunch of frames and swung there camera all around LOL!!! I don't know, I know nothing about photography
they use a tripod and try and get the exposure to be the same across the entire scene...not an easy task. PS and other programs do a very nice job of stitching this images together and then you just need to blend! here are some simple shots of mine, I really haven't done a lot of them but want to do more 3 shots: http://img260.imageshack.us/img260/5980/resizeofpany2wx9.jpg 4 shots: http://img267.imageshack.us/img267/4606/resizeofpany1ej9.jpg
