How long does it take to get a pagerank rating for your site? My site has been live for around a month and has quite good positioning for its main keywords but as of yet no pagerank rating.

you have to wait for the google PR update, happens about every 3-4 months, last one was at the end of april - since your site opened at around that time it couldnt have gotten a pagerank since it was very new - you have to wait for the next one, maybe around august or something

But you dont need PR really. Everybody talks about that around here. Get some good inlinks and focus on getting visitors instead of page rank.

anyway, i think on-page optimization factors were considered on pr ranking (there are cases sites have no backlinks but gain pr), keep your content fresh & unique

No.. Google updates the Tool bar PageRank once every three months. The next update should happen in Jul 2007 :)

You can get your PR on the next google update, if your backlinks were indexed by search engine.

If you look around the forum here, you can get the answer. Shortly, Toolbar PR updates happen about every 3-4 months. The last one concluded in the second week of May, so the next one is due around August or September. Don't expect to see anything change before then.

The GOOGLE people update the PR's of site once in 2-3 months sometimes also 4 months..... U just have to build quality links & wait... & no need to worry bout PR as if u have good links the url will automatically indexed in Google search engine on priority basis..

The age of the site or the SERPs would not guarantee you a page rank.

The PR coming only with link building and if you are working on a low budget, you could consider submitting your site to free web directories

You an find a list here
    http://info.vilesilencer.com/main.php?rock=seo-friendly.php

On a personal note, i have experienced a PR 3 / 4 by soley directory submissions
