Proxy sites and Adsense

I see that proxy sites are famous with adsense, is it because they get a good CPM per click or is it because of the traffic.

Also, what is important for a proxy site, CPU power? RAM? Bandwidth?

    Thanks

Proxy sites are fine with Adsense but never use ads on proxified pages or you might get your account in trouble.

its because of traffic the ecpm is very low under 2$ but the traffic over comes that

everything. proxies need all good resources from a server. the CPU power being the biggest i belive.

Yeah, Proxies do pretty well...Pretty low eCPM, but traffic comes hand over fist and the CTR is usually around 3-5%

eCPM and click values are on the lower side.

However it is much easier to build traffic for proxies and also CTR can be 3-5%.

Proxies often tend to overload servers. Thus it is essential that you have powerful servers. Also check with your host if they permit proxies or not...as many hosts do not allow proxies.

Well what i do is, i host the main proxy page on a normal web host, though for the proxy script i use a dedicated server or a vps, i just put the form on the main web page.

The two top proxy scripts are PHProxy and CGIProxy, and both are free.
