Lately, i've been receiving emails from submitters claiming that they cannot add their links to my directories. It comes in a personal email something like this: ------------------------------------------------ Hi, I\'m trying to submit my website as a featured listing in your directory. The submission page is not working. Everytime I attempt to submit my information, it keeps on that page. Please assist. Thanks. Sincerely, XXXX XXX Managing Director XXX XXX --------------------------------------------------------- Responded twice to different emails, yet they just resubmit, without PAYING!! Just got a 3rd email today, but from a different email. You guys getting anything like this??
Its a form of spamming, but certainly not new lol. They probably crawled your site, got your e-mail address and added it to their SPAM list. This method been around for sometime now.
*Ahem* Some Dare submission of a Directory even gets in without paying but I have paid a wonderful sitewide at the site. Would I Dare list the Directory ? The answer is Hell No.
Yip had one yesturday... Saying they tried submitting but that it would just skip payment... Deleted... They are probably just trying to get you to reply back to get your email then spam you more...
eh, I hope you not talking about my new directory www.daredirectory.com I received lots of spam too from the contact form.
That's just a similar name. And your name is Alang and not Lipovitan. Thought Bugis Street and Lucky Plaza are frequent Shops.
Speaking of spam does anyone else get TONES of blank submissions? I don't get what they are trying to achieve lol.
I get lots of these every day. In my admin it just shows "Top" and nothing else. I wonder if it's some automated thing doing it.
this has to be the funniest thing.... i sent a harsh letter giving him another chance and threatening to get his site BANNED by you guys as well if he proves to be a spammer. Guess what? Then I got an angrier response on is that how i treat potential customers! And how he will not submit to my sites for his future customers (his site did look relatively professional). What's there to do but to eat humble pie. Moral of the story: ???
