Atom Smasher...lol. these are not much different than any other Thermo Nuclear reactor and these exist already... In controlled environment they are harmless, and certainly not capable to produce Blackholes or wormholes... 4. Not a Christian so cant say anything about it.. but others dismissed it already. 5. There was a program on Nat Geo about 10 reasons that could end the world and except for the reason 5, none other was able to make in the list. The most probable reasons that can put lives on end are 1. Super Volcano 2. Mega earthquake due to Colliding Continents 3. Super flood due to global warming, that can wipe most of the lives on earth. 4. big freeze - Another Ice age due to Major Climate Shift 5. Killer Asteroids or Comets like 109P/Swift-Tuttle 6. World War 3 ( nuclear war) 7. A very Large Tsunami in Indian Ocean that would go through Pacific.. 8. Alien Invasion 9 and 10 were something really stupid that I forgot.. I dont think the world will end in 2012 but you never know and its kinda hard to write off the mayans prediction since they were really accurate in astronomy.

I think some country will be demolish till 2012 because of nuclear war and Iran, Iraq, India, China, Pakistan, Afghanistan and america will play a vital role in this war and we can say it 3rd World War. And all nuclear weapons will be demolish and all science/technology also will be finish. PS: it is not exact but it is my point of view and i believe it.
yeah they have been dead for a long long time and for some reason they decided that 2012 was when they wouldnt need a calender any more so they just stopped it. some people think it was the guy writing the calender out got bored and thought "what the f*** am i writing out this stupid calender for" so he stopped others believe it is because the aliens told them what was going to happen so they thought there was no point having a calender which goes past the end of days
