Duplicate pages

Hello,

Recently someone submitted like 500 products on my site. The problem is being tests, certifications, ... they almost have the same description, only 2-3 keywords (test code) differs in an entire text page. Will Google consider this fraud and attempt to duplicate pages? I really want to display their tests/... but without hurting my site.

 

I believe the will only index one of the pages. They may consider it a spammy site. I would delete it quickly.

for the products description i think it will sure mark as duplicate content. but if the main page dont have those information that should be fine though.

This is the same problem that most catalog-type sites have.
However, people mistakenly talk about Google duplicate-content penalty.
There is no such thing.
There is a duplicate content filter.
Duplicate content withing the same site is just something that cannot be avoided all the time. Google knows this.
