Alexa could easily be added to the template files, and the stats themselves can be customized pretty easily too.

 

You know, I am a pretty easy going person. I will let a lot of things slide and I try to get along with everyone, but you blatantly stole my idea, concept, and even design for the stats. I want that removed, and removed now.

Chris, I made this in response to dozens of people requesting such a feature for phplb. Having visited Web Directory List several times I am quite aware of your site, and I was actually pretty sure I saw this on a few other directories too.

You have supported my sites before and purchased links from me, you seem like a great guy and are obviously trying to protect what you feel is uniquely yours. That said, aside from the visual style of the three stats boxes, I'm just not understanding what is uniquely yours.

Google backlinks, Yahoo backlinks and Google PR are the most useful and attainable stats for a link buyer. Unfortunately MSN "link:" hasn't worked for ages now or there would be an MSN box there too.

Anyway, I'm a pretty easy going person too. While I did create the graphic from scratch, I was obviously inspired by your style. If this is offensive in I will work on a different graphic, no biggie. As far as stats, showing index of each link and everything else, it stays.

Right, I can't prevent you from showing stats, of course. Just don't make it look anything like mine. It will go into a MOD, and then a lot of sites will have the same design. I want to ensure it is not mine. Thanks.

 

Please. Mystikmedia is a nice guy. I just don't know doing that is a cool idea. You might want to change the concept if possible. You know something UNIQUE.

I would say it is, just because its in his sig, and his co. site is listed on there at $11 how "unethical".
