If he needs more time, he needs to simply analyze the costs and benefits of each project, and cut the ones that do not have a good cost to time ratio. Or he could delegate them to other people whom could be in charge of those for a paid income - thus freeing his time.

I'm awaiting the changes just the same as anyone, just a' tumblin' tumblin' like the tumbleweed, no particular place to go...

 

I don't think Shawn needs business advice from anyone here. Just support.

 

By the way, I reckon more and more users are using that tube-head bender avatar on this forum.

I agree Notting! You'd think by now there would have been at least an update to the restructuring of DP and what it means to the users.

It's obvious people are very anxious to find out what the heck is going on here.

 

It's more obvious that people are extremely nosy. If or when there's anything to tell you, you'll be told.

Look, the owner of this forum, in response to complaints about not responding to support requests for his products, made an offhand comment about being overwhelmed and needing to restructure his business.

Note the phrase "his business".

I don't know Shawn personally and I don't have any inside information. But if it were me, my attitude would be that the only thing anyone has a right to know is what I feel like disclosing, when I feel like disclosing it, if ever.

"Nosy" is the polite version.

 

Alternatively, Shawn created this thread on purpose. That's an open invitation, nay almost a request, for people to be "nosy."

I can't wait until Shawn comes back and knocks you down to your level again, like he did previously.

Furthermore...Shawn stated that the changes would be made "this week" and that was on the 14th of the month--almost 2 weeks ago..

 

So maybe the changed were made behind the veil, and the wizard will come back with the projector to amaze us later with the minor details of a top level organization change. Then Dorthy and Toto can go home to Kansas.

As for inviting comment, I think it had more to do with a public announcement to give in formation to those wondering about the lack of support for OptiGold.

 

I think you're on the right track here. We forum members tend to think of Shawn in the context of the forum, when the forum is a really small portion of Shawn's DigitalPoint empire.
