Porn.com bought for $9 million

I ve just read this article about selling porn.com for $9 million! Big money online! I hope someday someone will call me with an offer for my domains...

 

I believe it. You can almost say its a good deal...

 

Lucky for the previous domain owner

 

I was listening to a live auction a couple months ago, and it only got a $7 million bid. The reserve was at $7.5 million, I think.

 

Correction: there's a lot of money in adult domain names

 

that is pretty cheap for the possibilities of the domain.

 

If I remember right, it earns several grand a month as it is.

 

I can't say I am suprised... considering that the porn industry is so big, I think that is a bargain....

 

i believe it..i'm sure the new owner has a bit larger plans though, since a few thousand a month equals a bad ROI...

I almost feel bad for the guy that sold it for a mere $47,000

 

Well sex.com sold for 14 million if I recall but the deal was not all cash, shares and stakes where involved.

 

That is a vast amount of money for such a domain, only if I had of thought to buy it when the net started.

 

Damn 11 millions, Am really waiting to have enough cash to enter in the domains business industry, its really the real estate of our time.

 

I think it's a good deal! That domain is just a treasure.

Seems like it would actually be worth more. Not a bad return on investment for $47,000.

 

Wow, lol! I wish I owned that domain .. ahaha... I don't know what I would do with it except sell it..
