Is there a Google rollback going on ?

Day 4 - nothing new for me, there isn't Google traffic at all

 

My SERPs behavior 2007 : 8th of January, huge traffic came, 10k key phrases in top 10 positions.
--18th Jan the G switch goes "off"
--27th "on"
--28th Jan "off" again, i mean all the key phrases jump to 8th or 10th pages!
--the 30th "on" as nothing happened
--3rd February "off" in 4 hours "on" again
--Steady "on" for almost 3 months
--19th of April "off" i mean all my google rankings went to hell )))
--In a few hours "back on"
--26th of April "off"
--28th "on"
--2nd of May "off"
--5th of May "on"
--12th of May "off"
-- Till today i live in a Google desert, hello.. anybody there? Well interesting to add that image ranking positions have always been stable, google still brings me about 100 daily from images.
So my SERPs have been gone for 13 days now.

 

My rankings are getting a little bit better but they are still down :/

 

And who said Google is now testing some new filters? ))) I think all of this time Google has been effected by a monster virus. They can't admit it as most of the people will start using other SEs. Yahoo and MSN look very stable though...

 

Since May 11, 2007 Google gets horrible for me, in last 2 weeks around 50% of my google traffic has been dropped.

I don't know what's the hell is going on.

 

This is so true! Up till MAY 11, my site was getting normal traffic but then it fell. Only on MAY 18 I saw a little revival but besides that, I am not getting traffic from Google.

I am no longer on Page 1. I am on Page 2 but still, I should be getting someeee traffic! What the heck is going on?

 

Day 5 - and only 2 Google visitors,
Before this Google dancing I was getting at least 650 Google visitors.

I hope this will end very soon

 

I have a site and it is 6 months old. It was in the #10 spot on page 1 on a very competitive keyphrase. It is now GONE from that keyphrase. I noticed it go down from the bottom of page 1, to page 4 at about 4AM in the morning. By 11AM it was gone.

I know that a friend of mine has been plugging heavily with anchored text on that keyphrase. Could that be why it was taken down?

 

i have checked all of my sites serp . there is no change. they were bad and they are bad now

 

Nothing new today, but at least my PR is back. I had PR0 in 9 DC 2-3 days ago,
now only in 4 DC.

 

Same here, still....traffic from google is getting lower and lower each day... geezzz.

One of my excised sites is suddenly ranking exactly the same as it was in April.

I did remove all affiliate links from my home page a few days ago before it reappeared in the index. I am not sure if this helped or not. I am betting that my landing pages need to be ultra natural. Unique content, not rss feeds and no affiliate links. I plan up testing this on a few other sites.

 

According to the Search Engine Update Monitor, there was a major Google update at May, 23. 14% of sites gone from the 1st page of SERP. Also Yahoo update detected at May, 23.

 

when you have that much money and am a major player, you can do what ever you want.

 

So here is a question...

Say

May 15/16, your refers from google are about 1200 a day
May 16th to about May 20th, they jumped to about 5000 a day (with over 90% off the first page)
May 21st, it drops like a rock to, now, about 700 day.

All this during what ever google was doing. Penalty?

 

hmm! i have not experianced any thing like that but there must be something happening

 

The decrease started last Monday, a week ago. That day I had about 700 search Google visitors and maybe 3500 from SU.

Yesterday I had only 39 from Google. I hope that yesterday I touched the buttom.

 

Finally my traffic back to normal....
It affected me more than 24 days
Last 2 days my traffic is higher than ever

 

Still sitting on my ass waiting for my traffic to return (getting none at all), one site for 38 days and two others for 28 days.
