If you have landingpage.php that has navigation to other pages in your site, but no pages on your site link to landingpage.php, does this affect your Quality Score?

    Thanks,

    Jon

No, backlinks (inside or outside your site) are not used to compute Landing Page Quality Score.

Landing Page Quality Score is all about having an independent content (not copied from other page) on landing page and in pages that it links to, inside your site.

No, it doesn't effect your quality score, however it will effect your conversions. We have seen conversions increase up to 80% by simply removing navigation from the landing page.

Removing nav however CAN cause QS issues. So be careful.

I think that he is not talking about links from the landing page, but links to landing page:

lack of having links to landing page woluld not affect conversions.

Also notice that lack of links from landing page could do affect Quality Score as 1st level page links from landing page are used in calculation of site quality score too.
