Serps - Fluctuations

I am seeing big changes up and down SERP rankings over the last 3 days, is anyone else seeing changes?

 

nope Not for me.. its pretty steady!

 

Sure there are, I went from N1 position to 6-7 page, lol. I think I was penalized by Google, and still trying to figure it out.

Yes, i see it. My website is moving up and down in SERPS (for the main keyword) . For the rest of the keywords is ok.

 

Rankpulse is showing the biggest shift in its rank metrics for over a year.

which means SERPS are seriously shifting for whatever reason; BL or PR updates perhaps but its a bit early to tell yet.

today our traffic is coming in fits and starts to i guess we will be affected and I am assuming it will be downwards... :-(

normally fluctuations happen with younger sites while the older ones stay a bit more steady

how old is the site in question ?

 

this is true and not, sometime you can have an old site, and ALLWAYS have fluctuations.

ya one of my new site daily change huge from 1st page to 4th page and again back

 

that is pretty correct! my serps always fall and rise again, sometimes it get's to the first page and sometime fall back to the 4 page and further! this is pretty disturbing

Some think it is a rollback. Others (like me) think it is Google playing with some new ranking filters.

 

Fluctuations was very normal to search engine and sometimes they call this as google dancing.

 

Yes, I'm back from a penalty (for no obvius reason) to the number 1 spots!! woot

 

also Y! fluctuations are kind of wierd too

i dont rank anywhere for main keywords but i checked for one keyphrase which i rank for and some times Y! shows me at #1 others not in the list.

very strange as i only ever check this from home.

 

Yahoo update the algorithms few days ago with a big change of rankings, today we noticed that Google is testing some algorithm also and some dataceters show pr 0 ...

Lets see what's going to happen ...
