    Hey all,

I'm am moving into PPC from my SEO background and have just set-up my Google Adwords account (along with AdcEntre and Overture).
I am working with an adult themed site (not porn) but I cannot bid on certain keywords due to Googles filter.
When I check the results pages however PPC entries are appearing for them, is this a case of effective broad matching around the banned word or do I have to activate some kind of adult content filter on my adwords account?

Well if thats the case then that would explain why I am getting no impressions as my site contains adult content as well. I think I am on the same boat as you.

It's odd I created the add for keyword "adult1 widgets" and it said that both "adult1" and "widgets" were relating to pornography but you run a search and it has 5 PPC SERP entries.
There was an "exclusion application" box but i'm not sure when they review and display my add.

What do you mean with Google Filter? What message are you receiving that makes you think that google are filtering keywords you add to your account?

When I filled in the text for the ad it highlighted certain words and said "not suitable content" along with a passage about pornography and legal age limits.
It went away once I submitted the request however but I don't yet kniow if my ads will appear.

When you submit the request, the revisor will check if he disapprove or not your keyword - you need to wait and see.

Is your keyword with status "Active"? how long since you added this keyword to your account?
