    1. If by CMS you mean content management system, then I'd answer WordPress. Let me know if you meant something else.

    Thanks guys.

Some months ago I was at 450ish visits per day, but this month I'm averaging over 1000 visits per day (about 32,000 - 33,000 visits this month).

One guy asked me via PM, but since the questions were general I thought to bring them here:

I've explained (something) here what I've done to get the traffic grow.

To be honest: when I got my site to where it is today I didn't even know what "SEO" (search engine optimization) means. The 2 most important things I did was: [1] I set a goal [2] Worked towards that goal every day - doing what I have passion for.

I haven't submitted this site to free website directories, and I don't believe it should be the first tactic to use. I have submited some of my websites to directories (mainly game sites) where you can get some backlinks, although I wouldn't do it by myself - there's so many people offering inexpensive directory submission so I think it's best to go sell hamburgers for some hours and then spend that money to get somebody to submit to directories (in case you want to do that - I never did this for my this (best) site)

From my experience, I think writing good content & articles is a great way to get traffic. Just make sure you don't just submit to directories but network with other people (such as bloggers) and ask them to mention your articles. (make sure you give them something in exchange)

    --

P.S. I am going to write a new "guide" soon, to reveal what I did to get to this level.

I mean by simply contacting bloggers (via email for example) and telling them what kind of site you have - and that you'd be interested in cooperation. If for example you have a soccer blog, then you might want to contact other authors with soccer blogs: besides exchanging links you might want to do 'content exchanges' (like: "you write about my site and I write about your site").

Become their "business partners" and email them now and them. Make sure to email them if you have some opportunities for them. With just 5-10 high-profile contacts you can get a nice network together... and all benefit from it.

I'm not sure what this means... but I really recommend getting some content management system (like Joomla or Wordpress for blogging) that you can use to update content & site.

    TerryB and Naddy: aye.
    JC007, You're welcome.

Well, if you want. It sure would be easier to update your site when you have a blog or proper content management system.
