Marketing an affiliate program with Google adwords

    Hi,
I would like to know if it is a smart idea to market an affiliate program which pays 2 dollars per lead with Google adwords.
Or perhaps Google adwords is not a great place to market an affiliate program since the clicks are too expensive as compared to the payout.

adwords is actually a good place to start, just make sure you have done the proper research so you narrow down to the correct prospects. Have you ever heard of Google Black Book? Its a great guide for you to get more info on how you can maximize your online marketing skills. Its helped me alot

    check it out.

I see Adwords as a solid way to get the ball rolling for any affiliate starting off, but not as an "end all" solution. By the end of the day the numbers have to make sense, of course. Don't pay more money out than you are bringing in.

    Cheers! :)

This is the main reason why starting off with a huge account is a no-no. Start your bids out slowly and then tweak them as time goes by to see what is actually performing.

If you have never done any marketing before, then it may be best to learn a little first as adwords can be rather expensive and is not the place to start from if you are new to all this stuff.

If you have done marketing before, then it's still best to tweak your campaigns in Adwords and never spend to much at a time unless you start making some good money.

    Well,
You better check first how much is going to cost the campaign
you plan to run (bids etc)
