Don't want to be so out of topic. But besides laws, we have social norms and mores in stricter form. Breaking either laws, norms or mores is going to land you somewhere undesirable. E.g. Incest is legal in many countries, but is that desirable in sense of norms?

You've been banned Teh-Uploader, but I never heard Google also banned the email account, I think you've just made a very big-big mistake.

take the sites off and move on, and if you really feel the need to kill someone then do not make it public and in useless and crappy sites. And find another way to monetize your sites, there are plenty of them,

In what country? Not here in the US, they won't. Hate Speech is a newly recognized crime that a handful of people have been punished for, but for the most part what we "say" in the US is not policed.

Right here in the good old USA and where are you at?

People are not often arrested for hate speech but they are put on watch lists and tracked by several law enforcement agencies. They are visited by the same agencies and their movement is closely watched up to the point of the law visiting schools, jobs and homes to ask about the person. I teach high school and we get several contacts a year from law enforcement for something a student wrote on MySpace or a personal blog.

Don't be fooled in thinking that no one knows what you might be doing or saying. The Patriot Act has opened the doors to a lot of invasion into our personal lives.

Hate Speech is a very Orwellian concept, after all who decides what is hateful but the powers that be?
Hmm...I had better get my tinfoil hat on because my thoughts may travel through the ether and be intercepted by the Thought Police.

If everything was banned that offended someone, nothing in this world would exist. Your statement offends me.

Freedom of speech does not mean you are free to say what you want without consequences. Teh-Uploader is free to say what he want, and Google is free to ban him from their advertiser network and using their services and tools.

Corporations need to protect their image man. you should know that. The majority of people would find something like that offensive. Majority rules so companies are smart and protect the integrity of their brand. err.

If you had bothered to follow the thread before commenting, you'd know that we're not talking about Google's decision. We're talking about someone who said the guy should be arrested. I fully support Google's decision. Please read all posts before assuming something.

Edit: My reply was a little hot headed, due to the fact that i can not stand racism.

However, i respect freedom of speech and have to respect your right to express your opinion.

on that note.... i think you need to grow up, and stop being so ignorant.... and i'm glad you lost your adsense account... karma is a beautiful thing :)

It's perfectly legal. You're not an American I presume.

    1st Amendment
That doesn't mean Google has to stomach it.
