I have made a couple observations over the last days,
and I am PRETTY SURE how to get a site INTO supplemental index.

Buy it some (many) blog posts from PayPerPost and let them deep-link
    into your site.

Whoppa - a couple weeks later those pages get SUPPLEMENTAL.

Only requirement for this to work
    - the mark "* Sponsored Post *" or some of those PPP images
    besides the post.

    there you go.

    What do you think?

I wish the theory was so simple

Supplemental is a google ploy which not many have been able to understand

We have our own deductions on the google supplemental and most possible reason could be duplicate content.

I dont think that a blog post quoted as "* Sponsored Post *" , would be responsible

Can you post your site link ?

    this affects multiple sites,
and I cannot post the client's sites links - sorry

So you don't think untrusted links will get you supplemental?

BTW I agree, that OF COURSE dupe content puts you supplemental... but that's old knowhow

Maybe, but as long as you are not linking back to them there should be no concerns

Would that not be to easy for your competitors to hurt your SERPs ?

I have also seen samples of people hitting competitors sites.
It works if you have the funds or your competitors are small ones.
