From the one website (various pages) usually yes (depends if the pages are indexed) Several links from the one page to the one page (probably no) Several links from the same page to different pages (yes)
Well no one will know for sure. I would add that second links from the same site are likely to be worth a lot less. Avoid sitewide links, they are a clear indication of link spaming and google will have you for breakfast if you use them.
Well, I think if you have link from blog. You can also have backlinks from other inner page of the blog which is counted as another link.
Google looks at the IP address of a backlink. I think that multiple links from the same IP will count less than multiple links from different IP addresses.
I have a Similar query, so I'll ask here, instead of starting a new thread: -------------------------------- In a drive to build links for my Website. I have identified a big site which has 15% of pages related to my niche. Secondly, the URLs of these pages follow this common format: www.123.com/unique-keyword1 www.123.com/unique-keyword2 and so on... Now I am planning to get my website's link placed on these 15% pages. But I want to confirm that since these links will come from the same Site, so will they have good value in the eyes of Search Engines, especially Google! Will it be worth the time and effort, or I should just quit this idea! Hope to receive ur response. Your wisdom is appreciated -- Thanks for your time and help!
I would certainly aim to gather links from a variety of sites. Only when you start exhausting places where to get links might you consider using this strategy.
yes, they will be counted as backlinks but the weigth of the second link will less than the first link
Great Thanks to all for your able Guidance... The confusion is certainly clarified, and I'll aim to get links from Multiple Sites!
